Oregon Trail officially includes boss fights, and the Experience’s own badge inventory names seven boss or boss-group targets: Big Bison, Old Scratch, Reese Gang, Wolf Mother, Mr. Levi, Ghost of Old Scratch, and Ghost of Mr. Levi. Those names are high-confidence official evidence. Their routes, phases, attacks, health, rewards, and appearance rules are not published in the same data, so this Dex does not invent walkthroughs for them.
Use this page to recognize the names, open the official badge evidence, and know what to record when you meet one in the current game. A separate boss guide will be useful only after a fight can be located and repeated with enough detail to give safe, specific actions.

What the official evidence proves
The Roblox Experience description proves that fighting bosses is part of the intended journey. The badge inventory proves that the names above exist as targets tied to this exact Universe ID. A badge objective can also show that defeating a target is recognized by the game. This is enough to build a trustworthy identity index.
It is not enough to publish a location or tactic. Badges do not state which trail branch contains a boss, whether an event is random, what party state is required, how many phases occur, what attack causes damage, or what item drops. Badge award counts also do not equal drop rates or difficulty. A low award percentage can reflect limited access, a new badge, or many unfinished runs.
Prepare before a named encounter
Before entering an unfamiliar arena or committing to an interaction, regroup the party and check the wagon. Count medical supplies, food, ammunition or limited combat items, and repair resources. Agree on a retreat or regroup point. If the game displays an encounter name, badge hint, objective, or special prompt, capture it before combat begins.
Keep the first attempt focused on reading the encounter. Watch which target threatens players and which target can damage the wagon. Note whether additional enemies arrive, whether the arena blocks travel, and whether a downed player can be recovered. Avoid spending every limited item before you know whether a second phase or escape leg follows.
Build a useful boss record
Separate normal and Ghost forms
Old Scratch and Mr. Levi each have a separate Ghost badge target. That supports treating the Ghost names as distinct official encounters or objectives. It does not show that a normal fight automatically transforms, that the Ghost appears later on the same route, or that both forms share attacks.
When you encounter either form, record the exact displayed name and the game state that preceded it. Do not merge rewards or strategies between forms until the same response has been tested against both. A detail page should preserve the official “Mr. Levi” punctuation and keep Ghost routes separate.
Big Bison and the egg search term
Big Bison is official. “Giant bison,” “bison egg,” and similar search phrases are not equivalent proof. The public badge evidence does not mention an egg, puzzle, item, or reward. If the current game displays one, record its exact name, appearance, interaction, and relationship to the boss. Until then, do not carry a mechanic from another Oregon Trail game or a search suggestion into this Experience.
Reese Gang and bandits
The Reese Gang name suggests a group, and bandits are officially part of the journey, but the current official data does not explicitly state that every Reese Gang member uses the ordinary bandit system. Prepare for multiple targets, yet verify the displayed encounter before describing waves, roles, or spawn locations. Use the Bandits guide for general route preparation rather than assuming it is a Reese Gang walkthrough.
When to retreat and retry
Leave when the fight is consuming the last supplies needed to keep the wagon moving, when the party cannot recover downed players, or when the encounter can be revisited from a safer state. That decision depends on the current route; some arenas may close, and some events may not repeat. Record whether retreat is possible instead of promising it.
On the next attempt, change one decision at a time. Test distance, threat order, recovery timing, or one tool separately. A single successful clear can show that a method works once; repeated clears with the route and party state recorded are needed before calling it reliable.
Why there are no boss child pages yet
A dedicated page needs a reproducible route, clear conditions, several important attacks, safe responses, recovery information, and a verified outcome. None of the seven targets currently meets that full public-evidence standard. Keeping them together in this Dex gives players the official names without creating thin pages filled with guesses.
